AUSTIN, Texas (July 14, 2026) – The Texas Nuclear Alliance (TNA), the only association in Texas dedicated to the advancement of the nuclear industry, is proud to welcome as a member Subatomic Industries Corp, a uranium exploration and development company.

“By advancing domestic uranium mining, Subatomic is positioning Texas at the forefront of the next generation of nuclear innovation and strengthening America’s national security,” said TNA President Reed Clay. “Onshoring uranium mining is essential if Texas and the United States are to lead the nuclear renaissance. Subatomic’s partnership with TNA and the State of Texas also stands to create local jobs, reduce reliance on foreign suppliers, strengthen national security and supply chain resilience, expand our domestic nuclear fuel supply chain, and forge a more resilient nuclear future right here in Texas.”

Subatomic CEO Timothy Chilleri commented: “We are thrilled to join The Texas Nuclear Alliance as we advance our exploration and development strategy. Texas holds vast resources and represents untapped energy potential that will power the country across the key fronts of national security, energy production and re-industrialization. As power generation demand soars, the world is experiencing a structural paradigm shift that will reshape economies for decades to come. Uranium is the essential feedstock powering nearly 20% of the United States’ electricity needs, and as the megatrends of rising electricity demand and grid reliability accelerate, nuclear power will play an increasingly larger role in this equation. Uranium is geopolitical gold, and the ability to discover it, produce it, and store it is a measure of sovereignty itself. It is fitting that Texas, which has played such a critical role in securing America’s energy dominance, will continue to lead the nation’s nuclear renaissance. We look forward to growing our hub of operations in the state as we advance our strategy.”

About the Texas Nuclear Alliance
TNA is the only industry association in Texas dedicated to the advancement of nuclear technology in the state. Formed in 2022 in the aftermath of Winter Storm Uri, and comprising of over 70 member entities today, TNA is based on the fundamental premise that if Texas and the world want low-carbon, reliable energy, it can no longer turn its back on nuclear energy. In the 89th Texas Legislature, TNA helped pass four nuclear-dedicated bills, including House Bill 14, a $350 million investment by the state in nuclear energy—the largest of its kind in the U.S—that led to the creation of the Texas Advanced Nuclear Energy Office (TANEO). TNA was formed with a singular mission: to make Texas the Nuclear Capital of the World. Nuclear is clean, safe, reliable, and secure.
